Give the Gift of Inclusion

Imagine a world where we saw one another without judgement, without fear, without anger, without patronizing putdowns. A world where we believed in what was possible.
Every time a Special Olympics athlete sets foot on the field of play we learn a lesson, if we're willing to see it: everyone has a gift and we're all much, much better when we celebrate that idea
With your help, we will celebrate those gifts even more in 2022.

Our Pledge To Our Athletes

Since 1968, Special Olympics has been leading the movement to empower athletes of all abilities  to exceed their personal bests, on the playing field and in life.

"Because of Special Olympics, my quality of life has changed significantly – I'm healthier. I've also learned how to speak up more and I've been included in my community", said Emily Bower, a Special Olympics VA athlete. "But it's made you all better because it helps you understand me and understand others, too."
